Did you know Kimberly from Fat Quarter Shop has been sewing along with us for the Shine Together Quilt? She’s joining in the fun and this is Kimberly’s Block in the Shine Together Sew Along!
This block is so gorgeous!! It has a pretty ribbon effect to it, and I gave mine an ombre look so the colors fade as they move out from the center. I used four shades of Dainty Daisy – the Barn Red, Riley Red, Peony, and Frosting. I am pretty much all about the pinks in life, and this block makes me so happy!
I’m using this as my Block G in the quilt. I’m not quite following the same blocks Riley Blake Designs is in their order, but I’m sewing up a star block each week so I’m sort of on the same path haha. Here are the blocks I’ve sewn so far:

The instructions on the pattern show how to make the quilt. If you decide to substitute in any of the bonus blocks, you’ll have to cut those out according to the instructions from the designer.
