We have another block in the Hush Hush 3 quilt sew along! This is the Spools Block in the Shine Together Sew Along and it was designed by Heather of Anka’s Treasure.
This week’s free block is so colorful and fun!! I love the little thread spool, and I decided to make mine a rainbow of colors. For the background of the Spools block, I used Heather’s print from Hush Hush 3 called Stitch is Life. It has all sorts of sweet sewing elements on it!
I’m using this for my Z block in the Shine Together Quilt. I used my new Jade color of Dainty Daisy for the star points – I love how the color highlights the little thread spool.

The instructions on the pattern show how to make the quilt. If you decide to substitute in any of the bonus blocks, you’ll have to cut those out according to the instructions from the designer.
