We are sewing up another fun block in our Hush Hush 3 quilt! This is the Gather Around Block in the Shine Together Sew Along!

This sew along has been so fun – these bright colors are making me so happy! And I’m loving using all the different low volumes – they are little happy little waves from my other RBD designer friends haha!

You can find the instructions for the original Shine Together quilt here, but there’s an added element to this sew along! Each week, RBD Designers are sharing different center blocks for the stars so you have choices in how you sew up the blocks.

This week’s center block is called Gather Together and it was designed by the Riley Blake Designs owner, Cindy Cloward. It’s a gorgeous block and it’s perfect for scraps – I used a rainbow of Dainty Daisy colors and an assortment of Hush Hush 3 fabrics. I love the little wreath of colors in the block, it’s so sweet!

If you’re following along, I’m using this as my Block L! I used my new Stargazer color of Dainty Daisy as the star points. I am so in love with this new color!

The instructions on the pattern show how to make the quilt. If you decide to substitute in any of the bonus blocks, you’ll have to cut those out according to the instructions from the designer.
