We have a new block in the Shine Together Quilt! This is the Blooming Star Block in the Shine Together Quilt Along and it is designed by Minki Kim!
This cute block is part of the Shine Together Sew Along, and I love making up these block options from the different RBD designers. When I’m done my quilt will be a friendship quilt because of these fun blocks.
This week Minki designed an alternative block and I just had to add one of her darling labels to the center of the block! She has so many cute labels but I had to choose this cute one – it goes so great with the block and the whole quilt.
For this block, I used my new Lilac and Charcoal colors of Dainty Daisy, along with Riley Gray. It’s such a pretty color group. I’m using this as my Block S.

The instructions on the pattern show how to make the quilt. If you decide to substitute in any of the bonus blocks, you’ll have to cut those out according to the instructions from the designer.
