I have just had a blast sewing up all the different blocks in this darling Halloween Mini! This is my Spooky and Sweet Sew Along Finish and I love how it turned out!
The Spooky and Sweet Sew Along has been a mystery quilt along hosted by Fat Quarter Shop through the month of June and today we are showing off our finished quilts! I made mine using the mini quilt layout, but they have also provided instructions for a super cute banner quilt that uses the blocks, so you have options.
I sewed along with my Dainty Daisy fabrics – I love that they are like solids, but you can see the tiny daisies in the colors and they add such a fun bit of interest to the fabrics. I like to change up my Halloween colors too, so I added in some blues and greens to this one.
I quilted with a mini spiderweb pantograph-it’s so fun to see the subtle little webs running across the quilt. For the binding and backing, I pulled some prints from my Haunted Adventure collection from last year! I used the multi-color stripe as the binding, and I used the gray Dots print for the background. There are little crows in the dots!
Our baby Addie is learning to quilt pose, but she still has a ways to go, haha. She really liked the quilt though – her favorite was the little ghost witch of course.
If you want to check out the individual blocks, here are my posts:
