Are you sewing along with this year’s Halloween quilt along from Fat Quarter Shop? This is the Spooky and Sweet Sew Along Week 3 and we are sewing up the cutest Vampire Ghost quilt block!
I am having so much fun with this year’s quilt! I’ve been doing Dracula voices all week and my family is over it haha. But he’s just so cute! The Spooky and Sweet quilt along is a free mystery quilt from Fat Quarter Shop. Each week they are releasing a section of the quilt – here is what we’ve made up so far!
Next week they are releasing the layout and I’m excited to put it all together! But first -we get to show off our cute little ghost dressed up like a vampire for Halloween!
His little cape and hairstyle are maybe the cutest thing ever.
I’m using my Dainty Daisy fabrics for this quilt with a combination of gray flowers on cream, gray, licorice, and orange for Halloween colors. I’m also adding in some jade, stargazer, and jazzberry to add fun pops of colors to the quilt. I used the jazzberry for the vampire’s little cape – it’s just perfect!
You can visit Fat Quarter Shop to get the free patterns. There is also a free cross-stitch along—you can get the free pattern for that as well at the link below. The cross stitch pattern is so sweet and coordinates perfectly with the quilt.

All your information is not accurate. The dates you give for beginning of classes have past! Do you mean July not June?

Hi Lois,
The sew along is going on right now, so the dates are accurate.
