I can’t believe we are almost finished with this cute quilt! For the Prim and Proper Sew Along Week 6 we are making up four of these fabulous Prim Star blocks!
I think this is such a fabulous block. Can’t you see an entire quilt made up of them? There is a great runner pattern in the book using the block as well – it would be so pretty on the end of a bed or as a table runner. You can find a Prim Star Runner kit (affiliate link) at Fat Quarter Shop too!
I had a great time doing a little fussy cutting for these blocks too. I am using Golden Aster fabrics (aff link) for my main prints and Blossom in Pinks for the background. I chose a gray print in Golden Aster with little round flowers for the fussy cut sections of the star – don’t those little flowers frame up cute in the block?
