I’m so excited for the 2024 RBD Block Challenge Finish! This is the last week of the challenge, and this week, we get to show off our finished quilts!
Since January, we have been sewing up the cutest quilt blocks, all designed by different Riley Blake Designs Designers. This week we put them all together into a fun quilt!
For this challenge, I sewed along my Afternoon Tea collection and my Dainty Daisy low-volume Peony as the background. I love the little daisies in the background.
I used the layout Riley Blake Designs is releasing today, but I decided at the last minute to add a border. I wanted the quilt to be just a bit bigger, so I added a 4″ border. I love the way it frames the quilt.
Isn’t she so pretty? I love how all the blocks look unique but they blend together so well. It’s like a little hug of a quilt from all the RBD Designers! The layout is so fun as well, it really allows the blocks to shine.

Your new quilt is BEAUTIFUL! I love, love, love the colors SO much! I have been collecting the blocks each month but haven’t thought about the colors I would use. Your beautiful pictures have convinced me I am going with Afternoon Tea fabrics. I have purchased some of your fabrics for the Afternoon Tea and Tea Cakes but I better go shopping again for this amazing quilt! Compliments to you for a just well done! Devonna Tabor
Gorgeous!!! I have all the fabric and patterns tucked in a bin ready for me to tackle them as soon as I get my mystery quilt finished!
