It’s another week in the Retro Stitchery Book Tour and I am so excited to show you this fun This is My Happy Place Pillow from A Bit of Scrap Stuff!
This week on the book tour we are visiting Melanie Call from A Bit of Scrap Stuff! Melanie is a super talented quilter, seamstress and stitcher – if you aren’t following her already you need to! She has a really fun style and is so talented.
For the tour this week, Melanie took the “This is my Happy Place” embroidery pattern and reduced the size a little! Then she created this gorgeous pillow using Stardust fabric! I am so blown away by how it turned out! She shares a complete tutorial on how to create this darling pillow as well. Yay!

Melanie is a great quilt pattern designer as well! One of my favorite patterns of hers is this Sunrise Quilt!
That big star block is so fabulous, and I love how it really shows the fabrics off!!
You can follow Melanie on her blog and Instagram – make sure you head over and visit!
