I have a fun and exciting new machine to share with you today! The new Cricut Maker was released a few months ago and I’ve been dying to try it out. You see, the Maker has a super cool new feature. It comes with a rotary blade designed specifically for cutting. . . wait for it. . . fabric!

It’s my turn for Sewcialites 3!! 🎉⁠

Block 19 is the Pinwheel Dash Block, and I’m so excited to finally show it off! I designed this block for the sew-along, so even though I’m making the 9" blocks for my quilt, I had to make all three sizes — 3", 6", and 9". Because how could I not?! ✂️⁠

I’m sewing with my Correspondence fabrics, and I love how the little florals, pinwheels, and dashes all play together in this block. It’s such a fun one for mixing prints!⁠

This week`s Sewcialites 3 block is the Cross Current Block by Stacy @stacyiesthsu . I loved sewing this one and seeing all that movement come together! I`m still stitching along with my Correspondence fabrics, and these soft pink, aqua, and green prints were perfect for the design.⁠

We`re getting closer to the finish now, and it`s so fun to see the quilt starting to take shape. Are you sewing along too? ✂️✨
