Today is the Stars and Windows Quilt sew along kickoff and I’m so excited to be sewing up this quilt with you!
We are taking this quilt along nice and slow so you have plenty of time to sew along even with the busyness of the Fall activities. I want this to be fun!

- September 28 – Kickoff, picking fabric, cutting and more. (TODAY!)
- October 12 – Windows Blocks
- October 26 – Star Blocks
- November 9 – Optional Border and Quilt Top Assembly
STARS AND WINDOWS QUILT SEW ALONG KICKOFF
So today we are starting things off with sharing our fabrics, cutting and getting all ready to sew! I’ll be doing a live video at 2 pm CST in my Facebook Group every other week (on the dates above)! I’ll be talking about fabric selections and tips for cutting out the quilt as well. There will be giveaways every week for those that join with the videos as well! We love a good giveaway in the Facebook group!
I’d love for you to share your fabric you are sewing with! I made my first version with Vintage Adventure fabric and this time I am sewing mine up this time with the new Christmas fabric from Riley Blake, Yuletide. It’s such a gorgeous, classic Christmas collection!
I’m also adding a border this time around! This is totally optional, but if you’d like to do that too, you’ll need to buy an extra 1 1/4 yards of fabric for that. Here’s what I’m thinking mine will look like!

I got my fat quarters all pressed on Saturday so I would be ready to go! Now I have the pattern downloaded. I’m so happy to get two Christmas quilts done before December. I can relax and do my happy dance all through December! Thank you for designing this adorable quilt. I think I will be using it again and again.
Oh no I’m late. Need to purchase pattern. Christmas fabric I have. I will hurray and catch up. Love this one. I think I say that about all of Bev’s patterns.
