I’m excited to be joining in with the Fat Quarter Shop sew along for their new book, Simply Jelly Rolls! There are so many cute quilts in this book, and Fat Quarter Shop is hosting a sampler sew-along with the projects. This is the Simply Jelly Roll Sew Along Week 1!
Over the next few weeks, we will be sewing up different quilt blocks from the book, Simply Jelly Rolls. This book is so great – with 16 projects all designed for 2 1/2″ strips, there are so many fabulous quilts to make.
The quilt is a gorgeous sampler quilt, and I love the different blocks in the quilt.
I was able to get an early precut for my upcoming collection, Afternoon Tea! This sweet rolie polie is going to be so fun to sew with and I can’t wait for you to see the blocks each week. The new fabrics arrive in stores next month so it’s almost here. At Fat Quarter Shop you can put in your email to be notified when Afternoon Tea arrives in the store!
The first block in the sew along is the Pretzel 2 block. These are fast and easy to sew up – it takes almost no time to make four of these cute blocks.

What an exciting prize! I’m a beginning quilter. I finished a rail fence baby quilt. I love jelly rolls, and I would LIVE that book!!! And the 2 jelly rolls couldn’t be any cuter! Thanks for your tutorials and advice!
