I’m so excited to be joining in on Sewcialites 3, the brand new free sew along hosted by Fat Quarter Shop! This wonderful sew along brings together 25 designers from across the quilting industry, and I’m truly honored to be one of them this year. There is nothing better than sewing alongside so many creative friends — and all of you!
The sew along officially kicks off today and will run through Friday, August 21st. Each week, a different designer will share a brand new block pattern, and together we’ll build a beautiful sampler quilt one block at a time. I love these long sew along seasons — they give us something special to look forward to each week.
For my version of Sewcialites 3, I’m sewing with my upcoming fabric collection, Correspondence! The collection officially releases in April, so I’m thrilled to be able to share a few sneak peeks with you in these early blocks. 💌✨ The soft florals, sweet prints, and gentle vintage-inspired colors are so perfect for a sampler quilt like this.
Fat Quarter Shop will be carrying Correspondence when it releases, and you can sign up to be notified as soon as it’s in stock! I’m so excited with how the quilt looks in these soft florals. I’m pairing it with Dainty Daisy Stargazer as my Setting Fabric.
Block 1 – Idyllic
This week’s block is Idyllic, designed by Chelsi Stratton. I just love the balance of classic shapes in this block — it feels timeless and fresh all at once. The soft pink corners paired with the florals and low volume Dainty Daisy background give it such a sweet, romantic feel. It’s a lovely way to begin the quilt!
