We made it to Block 25 of Sewcialites 3 — our very last block!
This week’s block is the Sparks Block by Jessica Dayon, and it’s such a fun one to finish out the sew along. I love all the little points and angles in this design — there’s so much movement in the block, but it still has such a sweet, classic feel.
I’m continuing with my Correspondence fabrics, and for this block I chose greens and soft aqua with a little floral detail in the center. I love how those deeper greens pop against the lighter background, and that tiny floral center makes me so happy!
It feels a little strange to say this is the last block after sewing along for so many weeks. I’ve loved watching this quilt grow one block at a time, and now I’m very ready to start putting everything together! I can’t wait to see all 25 blocks in the final layout.
