We’re back with Week 3 of the Boo to You Sew Along, and this week’s block might just be my favorite yet! The Peek a Boo Bestie Block features the sweetest little ghost, and I am completely smitten with how cute this block turned out.
I’m sewing along with my Cozy Autumn collection, and for the ghost I used the Linen Vines print from the collection. I just love the soft texture it adds to the block — it gives the ghost such a pretty, subtle dimension. It also stands out so nicely against the Dainty Daisy Licorice background, which makes all those sweet ghosty details really pop.
This whole quilt has been such a fun way to mix fall style with a little Halloween charm. Even though Cozy Autumn is more fall than spooky, I think it works so beautifully in these blocks and gives the quilt a softer seasonal look.
