I’m so excited to finally share Block 19 in the Sewcialites 3 sew along — the Pinwheel Dash Block! This block is extra special because it’s my design for the sew along, and I have been waiting so patiently to show it off.
For my Sewcialites quilt, I’m making the 9″ blocks in my Correspondence fabrics, but since this is my block, I couldn’t resist making all three sizes — the 3″, 6″, and 9″ versions! It’s so fun to see how the block changes from tiny and sweet to a larger version that shows off the prints.
The Pinwheel Dash Block has a mix of pinwheels, little “dash” sections, and plenty of spots to play with your favorite prints. I love how the florals and low-volume background work together in this one, and those little corner triangles give it such a cute framed look.
