It’s time for a brand new Christmas sew along, and I’m so excited to be sewing along with Fat Quarter Shop again! Every June they host a free Christmas quilt along, and this year’s quilt is called Jolly Tree Farm. It’s going to be sew fun stitching up a little Christmas cheer over the next few weeks!
This week we’re starting with the first block, All Spruced Up, and it could not be cuter. This block is a row of sweet little trees, and I love how they all line up together like the happiest little Christmas tree farm.
For my quilt, I’m sewing with Claus & Co. by Melissa Mortensen of Polkadot Chair. The little illustrations in this collection are absolutely darling, and they’re perfect for a playful Christmas quilt. I’m pairing the prints with Dainty Daisy Cloud Peony for the background because I love the tiny pink flowers scattered throughout — it adds such a sweet touch behind all those festive fabrics.
