Fabric Weekend is Almost Here!

Oh my gosh you guys I am soooo excited for this weekend! Because I am going to this . . . . .

It’s a gathering of 20ish of the most amazing sewing bloggers  – all meeting in LA for a weekend of shopping, hanging out, and getting to know each other. And these gals are AMAZING. I feel a little like the girl sneaking into the party. But I can’t wait to spend the weekend getting to know them and learning lots! We’ll be shopping in the LA Fabric Distric, as well as other shops in LA, including Michael Levine and Mood!

Fabric Weekend LA is put together by Andrea from The Train to Crazy and Go To Patterns. Justine from Sew Country Chick has also put a lot of work into the event – it’s going to be such a blast!

Michael Levine is a staple in the Los Angeles Fabric District. Not only are we getting together for shopping, but we are also taking part in a Girls Night Out put on by Jessica from Me Sew Crazy! Our Girls Night Out will close out the weekend and I’m so looking forward to a fun dinner where we can relax and chat and get to know each other even better!

I’ll be sharing photos on Instagram all weekend so you can follow along with the fun! And I’ll be doing a wrap up post after the weekend sharing all of my finds, plus all our adventures. You can’t really head into downtown LA and not have adventures. And can I just say that I’m super happy that I don’t have to try and fit all my fabric back home with me on an airplane. I can load them up in my SUV and head home – and then try to explain them all to Mr. F.T. ;) Yay!!
