It’s time for a new block in our sew-along—this is 2025 RBD Block Challenge Block 7.
This is the Irish Spring block by Vicky McCarty of Calico Patch Designs. It’s a really fun take on a star block! Riley Blake has written great directions for this block to make piecing all those little sections super simple. It’s a fun one to sew together!
I’m sewing along with my Melody fabrics for this year’s challenge. I’m using the yellow and green prints in this one. It feels so Springy! This block has the Grass Vines print as the center. The yellow prints are the Beehive Flower Fields and the Beehive Basket. The star points print is Clover Flower Fields.
