April Tabletop Banner of the Month Club

I couldn’t resist sewing up the new Riley Blake monthly club projects – starting with this April Tabletop Banner of the Month Club!

For the past few years, Riley Blake Designs has offered a monthly club for cute projects—runners, bench pillows, mini quilts, etc. This year’s club is a Tabletop Mini quilt, and the designs are just too darling not to join in! All the mini quilts will be in RBD basics – this one has my cute Vintage Pastels Dainty Daisy as the background!

The club started with this mini quilt first, and it’s such a sweet little bunny! Amanda of Jedi Craft Girl designed it, and it was really fast to sew up. I sewed and quilted the whole project in a day.

The kits include everything to make the mini quilt, including the backing and a little sleeve for a hanger. There’s a super cute little metal hanger that is perfect for showing off the quilts. I’ll show my quilt on it next month.

I quilted this on my longarm – it took just a little while. I love how fast it was. The mini quilt is 12″ x 14″ so it’s a fast one! It would be easy to quilt on a regular machine too. I used a design called Ruffles – it makes such a cool effect with the little diamonds.

You can find the kits in shops now. Some shops are selling them as stand-alone designs, and some are selling them as programs where you buy the whole year of kits, and they send them out each month, that’s what I did. I’m so excited to sew these little minis up every month. I’ll be sharing my quilts as I finish them each month. It’s going to be so fun!
