I am excited to show off my Woodland Fall Mantel Display today! We don’t put up Christmas until Thanksgiving weekend – and since the Halloween mantel came down I couldn’t just leave it bare. That would be sad. I’m really happy with how it came out too! It’s was really easy to put together and it has a fun, whimsical look that I just love.
I had most of the things – and added in a few new things that blended together for a sweet, subtle color scheme. I’m still trying to get used to this red red wall. But I think these gold frames make a great backdrop, don’t you?
I’m keeping up my love of all things Acorn and painted up this cute little Acorn garland! I love these colors for Fall. I also included some coordinating teacups – I love all their different shapes.
I just tucked a few things around in the empty frames – I think it has a sweet, open look. I’ve included some fun touches from my favorite handmade shops – this little wood slice fox is from Earth Cookie Creates.
The little hoop is from Lefty Lex and the tiny clay glittery mushrooms around the mantel are from Creme de la Gems! I love how sweet they look with the gold frames.
The pom pom and felt ball banner is super sweet too – it’s from It’s Just Emmy. It goes great with the red wall don’t you think??
I added in a little more blue with this awesome feather wood sign from Junk Art Gypsyz. I am really going to miss those CA shops and holiday boutiques. I need to find some Tennessee fairs!
So do you put up a Fall mantel? I’d love to hear what it looks like!

I like to cup my hands around my eyes tunneling my peripheral vision when I view your home pictures. It makes me feel as if I’m really there. It always so welcoming. The lack of graphics behind the frames gives a feeling of anticipation of the season and what’s to come.

I just gotta know — how did you attach the acorns to the garland? They are real acorns, it appears. Just curious if those are little eye hooks or….? I love the empty frames with all the little pops of color here and there. I’m thinking I may now have an idea for my Christmas mantle. I really enjoy your blog.Have a happyful day!

I usually have an October mantle of Jack-O-Lanterns. In September and November, I turn their little faces to the wall, so I just have pumpkins showing. I add a few small figures in costumes for October. They come down, and I add a few pilgrim couples to the mantle.
