Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! I don’t usually get all crazy with decorating, but after all the Christmas decorations came down it just felt a little flat and boring around here. So I thought it would be fun to dress up my mantel!
I wanted to keep things simple – and vintage style of course! I decided to go with pastels this year since I already had my Lovebirds wreath and I thought it would be so cute on my old window.
I partnered with Treetopia to help decorate the mantel this year! I found the perfect addition to fill up the mantel, these super cute little Pink Tabletop Trees! You get three in the set so they are perfect for a table, mantel or buffet. Plus. . .they’re pink!
I added little doilies around the base of each tree, just for a tree skirt. I didn’t cut them, I just used large ones and wrapped them around the base.
I added in a few other things, my little heart stitchery and my cute painted mason jar (from Crafted Sparrow’s great tutorial) filled with carnations. I have decided carnations have gotten a bad rap. These look so cute and fluffy in this jar and they smell so good!
I used these cute Frosted Lights from Treetopia for the trees. They are so pretty and really fill up the trees – plus they light up the whole mantel.
I finished the mantel off with two garlands – a little crochet heart strand and a wool felt ball strand. I think they tie everything together!
Over at Treetopia they are having a giveaway for Valentine’s Day – you can enter to win a set of tabletop trees in white!

I looks gorgeous. I don’t decorate for anything other than Christmas but that Lovebirds wreath is simply adorable and so are the garlands.
I love carnations, always did but even more because they were my mother’s favourite flowers.

omg… not “I”. “It”. IT looks gorgeous!
Sorry about that. But wouldn’t it be nice to be able to say that I look gorgeous too? hahaha

So funny. I have done the same thing in the comment section. I cringe when I see a typo.

I meant to say when I hit send and see a typo of mine.

hahaha yeah, I knew what you meant. It is so frustrating cause I’m like, I swear I know how to write!

Lovely! I’m not usually a big pastels fan, but I love the calming vintage color scheme you used here.
