Updating my Closet with Fashion Staples

Do you do the great "Wardrobe Purge" after the New Year?

You know  – the whole going through the closet and donating or refashioning anything you haven't worn in a year or two?
It's a great way to freshen up your wardrobe and make sure you're staying current!

And let's face it, it's a great excuse to buy some new fun pieces. "Oh but look honey – I'm getting rid of all of this!" (Insert sweeping Price Is Right hand motion here)

But one of the things that I often forget to replenish are my staples – like tights and leggings!

That's why when No nonsense sent me a couple of things to review, I was thrilled!

No nonsense tights and leggings sent me a pair of black tights – in fishnet, and black leggings. Now I'll be honest and say that I wasn't so excited about fishnet. But I did some hunting through the closet and came up with an outfit that I really like them with!

I paired them with this sweet little inkblot dress, my denim jacket and my new lace up boots (Christmas present hollla!!). I think it gives the outfit a funky kind of vibe that is really fun!

The leggings I received were a black Control Top pair. (Um. Is that a hint??)

Just joking. Ok – can I say I adore these?? They are super comfy, and with the Control Top I don't have to worry about whether I can have that ice cream after dinner or not. :)

I paired them with my super long gray sweater and the comfyest boots in the world ever. So this is basically my go to outfit for looking cute but being absolutely comfortable. And eating ice cream cause I want to.

One of the things I didn't know about No nonsense tights and leggings was that they are available in most local food and drug stores and at your big retailers too. AND they are super reasonably prices – so you can easily add a few pairs to your wardrobe to freshen it up for the rest of the winter!
