This year I wanted to get a little Fall décor up before the big Halloween push so I did a quick and simple vintage fall mantel that I wanted to show off!
Since this will probably only be up for a few weeks, I pulled things from around the house and made some a couple of super easy little projects. It was fun to put together!
So let me show you around a bit –
I used a few old books, dishes and some little white mini pumpkins to fill in a lot of spaces, as well as my vintage fabric wrapped pumpkins.
The little canning jar lid pumpkin is from a recent Pinterest party I had, they were super easy to do! Here’s the tutorial we used. I also printed out a cute little vintage postcard from Karen at The Graphics Fairy for my starburst frame.
I wrapped up some new fabric décor balls too – with vintage sheets of course. These are one of the first tutorials I ever did, so if you click over to check it out, try not to be dismayed by how not awesome the photos are. ;)
I have been dying to make up a little vintage sheet bow garland since I saw Smile and Wave’s tutorial – and I just love how it looks on the mirror!
I’m really happy with how it all came together! And it gives the room a fun Fallish feeling – without too much work. Especially since it will come down soon for all the Halloween awesomeness that is around the corner. ;)
I’d love to know what you think!
Do you do any pre-Halloween fall decorating?

BEAUTIFUL!!! I am going to have to check out your tutorials. I checked the bowtie garland one. However, your bows look a little smaller than hers, Is that just the picture or did you modify? I love yours and would like to know the size. Thanks!

Hi Kim!
Thanks so much – I’m so glad you like the mantel!!
I didn’t really use her tutorial, just made my own garland after seeing her photos. My bows are 5″ wide. It was super easy and fast to do!
