I am addicted to making project bags right now! They are so fun and fast to make! Today I’m showing off my latest version, this fun Mod Meow Large Project Bag!
Mod Meow is a fabulous new collection from Amanda of Jedi Craft Girl! It is full of mod kitties, little mice, fun stars and lots more – including a great border print that I knew would be perfect for a project bag!
Isn’t it so cute, with the little kitties in their cat towers?
I used my Large Dresden Bag pattern for this, just without the Dresden! The little border print made the perfect front for the bag!
Mod Meow also has an applique panel! I added a cute kitty applique to the back of the bag!
Today (Monday April 12) I’ll be doing a Live tutorial in my Facebook Group on how to sew in a zipper on a bag like this! I’d love for you to join me – it’ll be so fun to show how I put in those zippers – they are so quick and easy to do.

I used the Donut Zipper Pulls from Sallie Tomato – they are perfect for adding my little Needlework Enamel Charms!
I also added one of my Leather Hand Made labels to the bag!
Have you made a project bag? I’d love to see it!
