Today I get to share a new Block in the Meet the Maker’s Quilt Along! This is week 3 in the quilt along and we’re sharing our versions of Block #3! If you’re new to the Meet the Maker quilt, it’s a gorgeous quilt designed by Riley Blake Designs. They made the main quilt up in Riley Blake solids. A lot of the designers are sewing along with the quilt using our own fabrics. It’s so fun to see the blocks made up in lots of different fabrics.
I had to do a little more fussy cutting with mine! That center block is the perfect size for the bicycle in the main pink Vintage Adventure fabric.
I used the Vintage Adventure Red Floral for the large flying geese, the tiny pink floral for the small flying geese and the pink main Vintage Adventure print for the center square.
