Mason Jar Valentine Scrap Tags
Hi There! I’m Malia and I blog over at Yesterday on Tuesday. I love all sorts of DIY projects but my favorites are upcycling and recycling projects. That’s why I’m so psyched about being here today!
It’s so fun to participate in the Scrap Busting Extravaganza! Yay! Well the timing of this was perfect, because I have been a busy been purging stuff in my craft room. I tend to hang on… and On… and ON to things! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought if would be fun to use up some of my fabric scraps on a Valentine’s Day project.
Supplies: Fabric (you really just need scraps… whatever you have!), Mason Jars, candy, pinking shears or scissors, seam bias (or ribbon or twine), glue dots, a hole punch, Mason Jar Valentines Tags (download below) and cardstock.
Step 1: Download these Mason Jar Valentine Scrap Tags and save to your computer.
Step 2: Print them on card stock and them cut out.
Step 3: Cut small squares or rectangles of fabric (mine are 3 1/2 inches wide x 4 inches long).
Step 4: Use glue dots or glue to adhere to blank tags.
Step 5: Line up a tag with writing and a fabric tag and punch a hole through the hearts at the top.
Step 6: Fill jars with candy.
Step 7: Loop seam binding through the holes and tie on jars.
Don’t these make sweet Valentine’s Day gifts?
If you like Mason Jars (and I am an addict!) here are a few fun projects:
