Finishing the Floral Embroidery Design
If you’re going to leave your design in the hoop, make sure the design is centered in the hoop and the fabric is nice and tight. Trim the fabric around the hoop to about 1/2″ and glue the extra fabric to the inside of the hoop on the back side.
You could also use this for a pillow or quilt project! It would look so sweet as the center of a pillow design with a pretty pieced border around it!

Thank you very much for allowing me to download this beautiful embroidery. I love daisies – on fabric, as appliques and embroideries as well as seeing them in nature and will definitely add this one to my ‘must do’ list.

I love daisies. I even had them in my bridal bouquet many long years ago. I’ll be making this one, although I might change the “us” to “you”.

I recently found this tutorial while looking for patterns to practice with im a newbie. i had read that some patterns have you use a different number of threads depending on the design? maybe? again im a beginner. anyways i was wondering if there was a list of threads needed for this one? or if i just use all 6 strands? thank you!
Hi Miranda! I used 3 strands of floss for all the stitching on this hoop. :) I hope you have fun making it!

I love this pattern! I’m new to embroidery and I’m struggling with the petals on the daisy. Can you please tell me how many threads you use when doing the satin stich and how do I keep the petals separate from each other?
Hi Linda! I used three strands of floss for the satin stitching. If you keep your stitching a little shorter on the ends of the petal, to give it that rounded look, that should help the petals to look separate. Also, keep the bulk of your stitches towards the center of the petal.
