Boy do I have the Spring bug this year! I am so ready for everything to be fresh and new!
Are you in the same boat? I am cleaning out my closets this weekend and getting rid of anything I haven’t been wearing – or maybe refashioning some stuff. I’m going to do the same thing with my accessories too. If those earrings have hung on my holder for over a year without getting worn, they are out of here! Some of that is due to a little secret that I’ll be letting you in on soon. Super exciting stuff going on around here!!
I will confess though that some of the purging is because I’m all caught up in making new accessories and clothes, and I adding a few store-bought things as well. I wanted to show off a few things I’ve added to the wardrobe this week.
One of my new adventures this year is that I am a new addition to the Design Team over at the Crafts Unleashed blog! So I’ll be sharing tutorials over there too a couple times a week! I will try and announce them here but I will definitely post links on Facebook so make sure you’re following along there so you don’t miss out.
My first project there is this Rhinestone and Pearl Bracelet! It’s super easy – no jewelry skills needed. And it’s made up with these pretty mint pearls and gold cording, all on a leather bracelet. So perfect for Spring!
I also have a new favorite sweater I wanted to show off.
Joules USA sent me this gorgeous sweater for spring – isn’t it just the cutest? I have figured out that I just love anything English. Shoes are my favorite – but apparently I need to explore the clothing sold over there because this stuff is cute! The details on this are super fun. The florals combined with the stripes, then the pink in the placket, and it even has pink elbow patches!
If you want to do a little browsing for Spring too – make sure you check out their line of sweaters and cardigans – you might find something fun to add to your wardrobe!
I’m also excited to say that the blog is getting a little makeover! I’m going to freshen things up a bit and clean some things up. It won’t be crazy I promise, just something new!
I would love to hear if you get the Spring bug too – have you been cleaning or organizing? Or maybe shopping? :)
