I have gotten so addicted to sewing for myself! It is so nice to be able to make up things to wear – the way I want them!
This new top is part of the latest pattern release from Pattern Anthology. It’s the long sleeve version of the Day Tripper Top with just a couple alterations.
I didn’t add the cuffs on the sleeves or the waistband. I love the subtly hi-lo hem this top has. I changed the neckline just a wee bit too. I cut mine a little smaller, then I sewed the neck binding so it would be a pop of the floral along the neckline. I also changed up my fabrics and used a floral knit for the sleeves.
This was super fast to sew up too – I think I spent more time picking out fabrics then actually sewing.
I’m excited about all the patterns in the Just Add Jeans collection. I have a Parisian cut out and ready to sew up – I’ll show it off in the Sew Our Stash post for this month!
