We’re having a little Christmas in July fun today with this cute Ugly Christmas Sweater Ornaments Kit!
My daughter has been wanting to learn to stitch and I thought this cute Ugly Christmas Sweater Ornament kit would be such a fun project to work on together! The stitches are nice and basic and the details are so cute – plus the kit includes everything you need to make the ornaments!
If you aren’t familiar with Bucilla, they’re celebrating their 150th anniversary this year! They make all sorts of great stitchery kits – including lots of holiday designs. They have sweet stockings that make great heirlooms, lots of fun ornaments and home decor stitcheries. They carry them year round so can pick them up early to stitch in time for Christmas and they are always coming up with new designs – there will be 25 new designs this year alone!
Aren’t these stockings sweet? They’d be perfect to make for baby gifts, grand kids and to have as personalized stockings!
We made up three of the stockings from the Sweaters kit and I love how they turned out! We can use them as ornaments but they make great gift toppers too.
The little snowman is the sweater my daughter made – and she’s never stitched before! You can see they are great beginner projects.
The ornaments have such cute details with lots of little felt shapes and sequins to give them all some sparkle!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Kit! My daughter is a pediatric nurse, and every year we create a couple of shirts she can wear. I would make them for her.
While those ugly sweaters are awfully cute, I think I would choose the snowflakes. Really, I don’t think you can go wrong with the Bucilla kits; they’re all so charming. (Have you seen “Christmas Whimsy”? Adorable!)

I would chose the ugly sweaters for a dear friend’s 3 sons whom I make a tree ornament for each Christmas. They look for their new ornament every year. I have been doing this since they were born and I think I get just as excited making the ornaments as they do receiving.

I love these kits. I’ve been doing them since 1980, shhh I couldn’t be that old! I have a adorable collection of little elves, santas and assorted felt Christmas ornaments. Would love to stitch up some snowflakes.
