We’re on Week 2 of the Cherry Love Quilt Along, and this week is all about the patchwork scrappy cherry blocks—and they might be my favorite part so far! 🍒 These blocks are such a fun mix of playful shapes and sweet details, and they really bring the quilt to life as they start to come together.

I’m sewing my version using Sandy Gervais’ Love You Always fabric collection, and I’m absolutely smitten with it. The soft florals, tiny hearts, and sweet Xs and Os are perfect for this quilt, and I love how the scrappy cherries show off all those prints. I’m using the low-volume print from the collection as my background, which adds just the right contrast while keeping everything soft and romantic.

If you’re sewing along, this is a great week to dig into your scraps and have fun mixing fabrics—no two cherry blocks look exactly the same, and that’s part of the charm. 💗 You can find the Cherry Love quilt pattern and all the quilt-along details over at Fat Quarter Shop, and I’ve linked everything here as well to make it easy to join in.

I can’t wait to see your cherry blocks—be sure to share them and tag me so I can cheer you on. On to Week 3 soon and showing off our finished quilts! 🍒✨
