I am so fortunate to be a small part of an event going on in Murfreesboro, TN this weekend! An Artisan Affair is an arts, crafts and vintage show taking place just outside of Nashville. I know a lot of you aren’t local but there is so much inspiration and pretty items, even if you can’t be there I think you’ll love looking through the photos!
The event is taking place at the Oaklands Historic Museum and the grounds and house are just gorgeous.
You can tour the house, though we didn’t have time to do that this morning, and the booths are set up around the lawn in one of the outbuildings, so you just have pretty walks and flowers everywhere as you check out all the goodies.
The vendors themselves have really brought such a fun assortment of things. I pretty much wanted to take it all home. :)
There is all sorts of vintage finds, plus handmade jewelry, clothing, artwork, furniture, and so much more!
That “I could sop you up with a biscuit” just killed me! :)
Everything was so well put together and presented too!
I have also really enjoyed getting to know Tilina, the founder, these last two weeks – she really puts her heart and soul into it. The event is a fundraiser for the YMCA After Breast Cancer Program and Wig Bank this year – there is information and encouragement throughout the grounds!
Add had to add my sweet girl Jaime Jenkins to the “No One Fights Alone” banner! Jaime is a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to me and I admire and love her so much.
I’m excited to head back tomorrow – and if you are in the area you should come on down! I’m presenting a fun little talk in the afternoon, along with Michele from The Scrap Shoppe and Deneen from Dreaming in Color. We’ll each be doing a little demonstration between 11 and 1pm and we’ll have a question and answer too! It should be a lot of fun!
Oh and we were all on a local Nashville TV segment on a super fun show called Lifestyle with Denise Simons last week if you want to check it out! :)
Do you ever go to any art shows or craft events? I’d love to hear about them!

Wow that is so pretty! I have participated in two craft show and they were fun and hard work! We don’t have any in the summer here and I can’t get over how nice it looks there. It would be hard not to spend every penny I made!
