I really love a good craft book! There is just something about holding a book in your hands and being able to see instructions and projects all in one place! Plus, all the pretty photos, patterns and more.
I’m starting a new series this year on the blog. I’ll be reviewing and showing off some of my favorite craft and sewing books! I’m so excited about it. Some are books by friends that I’m super excited about, some are books that I’ve found and love, and some will even be vintage books that I’ve bought off half.com or used book stores. I’ll also be doing book giveaways when I can – to give you a chance to join in the fun!
Today we’re starting off with the book, Washi Tape Crafts from Amy Anderson – of Mod Podge Rocks, Washi Tape Crafts and DIY Candy!
Amy is an icon in the craft and blogging world! She runs three successful websites and this is her second book. And it’s such a fun one!
Washi Tape Crafts comes packed with cute projects (110 of them!!) and a whole set of cute rolls too – so you can start crafting right away!
The projects range from simple to more complex and they all have full instructions that are easy to follow along with. I love that they really get the ideas flowing too – so after looking through it you can think of ways to use washi tape that you’ve never thought of!
I love this little Coffee Cup Tumbler! Wouldn’t this be a great gift?!
I can’t resist a cute jewelry project and I’m definitely going to make up these bangles.
One of my other favorites are these book cut-outs! They are such a fun and different way to do a monogram.
I had to get crafting right away, so I broke out my new pink clipboard and added some cute tape! It’s perfect for holding my little watercolor sketch. :) I have it sitting on my desk for a little inspiration!
I’m giving away a copy of Washi Tape Crafts too! Enter on the Rafflecopter widget below. Good Luck!
