We are on Week 4 of sewing our fun Vintage Stars quilt! This is the Vintage Stars Sew Along Row Assembly week.
This quilt has a fun vintage style but is much easier to sew together. This week, we will be sewing our rows together, and we don’t have to worry about tricky “y” seams. Here are the weeks so far in the sew-along:
The Vintage Stars pattern comes with paper templates so you can use those to cut out the pieces. To make cutting the pieces out even easier, I have acrylic templates in my shop that are designed to work with this quilt. You can find kits in Sweet Freedom fabrics at Happy Little Stitch Shop!
VINTAGE STARS SEW ALONG SEWING ROW ASSEMBLY
In the video this week I’ll be showing how to sew the rows to each other to create the quilt top center. You can join me Live at 2 pm CT on YouTube, or check out the video here right after.
I’ve made up the quilt in my new Sweet Freedom fabrics and my Dainty Daisy low volume Barn Red on Cloud and I’d love for you to sew along with that! You can also join in with any fabrics – this is a great stash buster quilt or you can choose whatever fabrics you’d like. The videos will stay available for you to watch any time, so feel free to sew along whenever you’d like.
