Howdy! Yes, I’m embacing everything Southern right now. I love it down here. Everyone is friendly, they smile all the time, they’re polite. It’s weird. Good but weird.
Ready for some more trip pictures??
I wanted to introduce you to a little enormous friend I met in Texas. Good Night Nurse this thing was huge. I know everything in Texas is supposed to be bigger but this is ridiculous.
On to New Orleans. We ate at Cafe du Monde for breakfast. Sort of breakfast. Does powdered sugar with some doughnut under it count as breakfast? I don’t care – either way it was awesome.
The architecture was beautiful. Wonderful, scrolly goodness.
I’m putting a blank space here for the restaurant we ate at last night. I’m of the firm belief that if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all.
So on to Georgia. :)
Stone Mountain is super cool. .
And I just had to share with you this pretty heart-shaped leaf. Sweet huh?
We ate at a great Italian place in Gainesville Georgia with our family here.
It was in an old historical house.
And here’s our crazy bunch. :)
Off to North Carolina tomorrow!

That is so cool that you ate at the Mellow mushroom. YUMMY. I live in Georgia and yes anything fattening, fried, sugared etc counts as a meal in the south lol. Especially if it has butter on it or in it.
OMG! my husband is FROM Gainesville, GA!!! and his mama and grandparents and cousins still live there! yay! mellow mushroom is awesome, how fun!! our house in Suwanee is like 45 min South of there :o) looks like fun so far! Enjoy!
Waaa? I’m just now seeing this post! How in the world did I miss it? It looks like your travels are going great! I love the “Good night nurse” line! Awesome. And that pearl bracelet…LOVE IT! I want! I want! I want! Keep on trucking :-)
