Add some sweet colorful style to your home with this Stitching Friends Embroidered Pillow Pattern!
A few months ago I was able to be a part of the August issue of Homespun Magazine with this sweet Stitching Friends Pillow Cover. Starting today that pattern is now available in my shop! Homespun is a fabulous magazine but it is a bit tricky to get here in the US. Now you can pick up the pattern in a PDF download and start stitching right away!
This sweet kitten is hanging out with his little birdie friends and they’re all set to start stitching. The embroidery design is surrounded with a pretty patchwork border and finished off with pom pom trim (of course)! The back of the pillow is an envelope design so you can easily remove the pillow insert for cleaning.
I just love the floral detailing on the embroidery!
The pattern includes full instructions for the embroidery and sewing as well as black and white and color versions of the embroidery design. I have also included as a bonus a version of the embroidery pattern formatted to fit a 10″ embroidery hoop so if you want to stitch up a version for wall display its super simple!
You can find the Stitching Friends Embroidery Pillow pattern in the shop here!
I hope you have lots of fun stitching it up!

I love this! It makes me want to needlepoint again. (I can’t use a sewing machine to save my life though. lol!) I did a couple pillowcases a while back and had more fun. It’s just relaxing to me. (Addictive, too, but in a happy way).

I’m so excited to follow you! I’ve collected many pieces of vintage fabric and embroidered pieces and tablecloths, and I like to embellish with embroidery. Your site has given me a start on how to creatively coordinate and use the pieces, instead of just storing them. Thank you for the inspiration! Here’s to beautiful pillows, wall hangings, chair covers and more!
