Have you heard of Quilt Market? It’s basically a big smorgasbord of fabric and quilting awesomeness. I’ve never been – I think it’s only open to quilt and fabric designers, but it’s on my list of “big things I want to do”. It’s a long list. :)
Last weekend was the Minneapolis Quilt Market, and while I wasn’t in attendance, I did have two projects there! I often work with Blend Fabrics and I had a blast creating these two fun things for their Quilt Market Booth. They are both from two of their new lines and I think the fabrics are so fun!
I thought the fabrics worked really well for the clutch – the mix of funky chevrons and stylized peacock print looked so fun together. It was really fun to go back and revisit these older projects too. This fold-over clutch makes up so fast – I think I need to make up another version for summer!
And speaking of summer – I made up a version of my Scrappy Anchor Pillow using fabrics from the Sun-Sational line! This line is all made up with beachy inspired prints – it’s perfect for this anchor pillow.
If you want to check out photos of Quilt Market hop onto Instagram and look up the hashtag #quiltmarket. It’s seriously a bunch of eye candy. You can see new lines being debuted, gorgeous quilts and projects and lots more!
So even if I wasn’t there, I had a little bit of “me” there! And hopefully someday I’ll get to see all the fun in person!
Have you ever been to Quilt Market? I’d love to hear your stories if you have!
