I don’t know about you but my To-Do List is a mile long.
There are soooo many projects that I want to do. I’m thinking about giving up sleeping.
Or at least cutting it down to 2-3 hours a night. That’s enough right? :)
And everytime I read another blog, scroll through Pinterest, or check into Anthro, it grows longer. (Which let’s be honest, is fairly often.)
So I thought I’d share just a TINY FEW of the projects on my list.
I’m really in love with this skirt. The denim paired with the sweet fabric underneath is just too cute!
How cute is this tablecloth?? Kendra from Me and My Insanity created this one and while I love this red, white and blue, I think I’m going to make mine a little more general – so I can use it all summer!
I’m going to Mod Podge some shoes. I’ve been wanting too forever – I even have the shoes. I just can’t decide what to do!
Check out these cool shoes – see why it’s hard to decide??
I’m going to skip paying $298 for this at Drift Away Comforter at Anthro and make a knockoff version.
I’m thinking a nice Burgundy or Olive Green.
This one has been on my list forever. I love papercuts but you all know that I’m not so gifted in that area. So I really want to make this and I keep putting it off.
But I’ll get too it eventually – it’s too cute not to do! Alice is one of my favorite books and these scene is so perfect.
This comes from a fabulous papercut blog Scherenshnitte.
And yes. I have thought of cutting it out with my Silhouette. But that would be cheating. Right?
Someone has stolen all of my potholders. You think I’m joking but I’m not. They have slowly disappeared over time and now I’m resorting to pulling things out of the oven with folded dishtowels.
Which if you’re a bit (ok a lot) clumsy, is a good way to toast some fingers.
I can’t bring myself to buy them. So I need to get busy and make some. TipNut has gathered some fabulous tutorials and put them all in one post. I like these for inspiration.
And of course – what would a To-Do List be without some Anthro Necklaces?? Well. It wouldn’t be MY To-Do List. :)
These have been on my list long enough that the store doesn’t carry them anymore. Fortunately I was wiley and saved the pictures. Woohoo!
So that’s just a little bit of the things that roll around in my head when I should be sleeping. A very little bit. :)
What about you? What’s on your list? Clothes? Jewelry, Stuff for your House? All of those?? :)
That skirt is off-the-charts adorable. I’m definitely pinning it! :)
I hear ya! My To Do List is forever expanding. Tons of projects that I need/want to do.
Fab to-do list!
I need to make a tablecloth like that, only using vintage embroidered hankies.
I also have saved a zillion papercut patterns, and I have the paper and fancy exacto knife waiting to go.
I REALLY need to reorganize my craft supplies so I can properly decide what to work on after I finish my current embroidery piece.
I know what you mean, for every one thing I can tick off the list I add another 2!
Oh I don’t think it would be cheating if you cut that out with your silhouette, if you had the time hand cutting it would be just lovely but if your To-Do list is anything like mine there’s tons of other stuff that you’d like to try! Using your machine and combining it with some gorgeous background paper and it would make a gorgeous piece of art for your home.
I also noticed in your saved Anthro necklace photos, the tiny little bicycle necklace. Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen it before, I know the perfect person I could make it for! :)
Ahahaha…you are funny :) But I also have a very long list and everyday I find something else and kind forget about the ones saved on my favorites or pinerest LOL Just like 6 hours a go I went and got some clay, now I’m looking for a tutorial on how to make beads using clay LOL Maybe I should do some of my saved projects before trying something different?
I like your blog :)
I love your list! I think you and I could be great friends! I do have a list and because I have four children, I don’t get much of it done. I did, however, get one thing off my list this last week- the ‘Levi Apron’ that I found on ‘ A girl and a glue gun’s ‘ blog. Now on to the other million things on my list…..
I love the skirt!! Is there a pattern for this or was the picture from a magazine? I think my girls would love to have a cute skirt like this one! Your to-do list is pretty impressive and I can’t wait to see your creations!!
I love all of these, Bev! Especially the skirt and the Alice papercutting. (I would totally let my Silhouette cut that, btw. lol!) You’ve got some fun things on your list!!
I’m working on organization right now. Not super crafty but MUST be done!
But that’s what I do when I’m supposed to be sleeping! :) Hence the lack of sleep! Loving the pot holder tutorials, MIGHT get round to that one day!
P.S. Love the blog!
My craft idea list is saved to my phone. The iPhone has a great little notebook tool and I make lists upon lists there. Plus I have the craftgawker app (and pinterest) and I’m daily scrolling through there for ideas and saving them. And when I see something on a blog I love, I email the link to myself. I’ve got lists coming out the wazoo!!
Mostly my lists consist of home decor for when we get a house and jewelry with which I can experiment. Which is how the Library Stack necklace knock-off came about. I, too, saved a bunch of necklaces pictures from Anthro.
I LOVE that skirt! So cute! I can’t wait to see your versions of the anthro necklaces! Have fun with your projects! You certainly have some fun ones!
That jean skirt is too cute! Sewing is sooo intimidating so we’ll put that project on the back burner!
I’m with ya-so many ideas and not enough time! I don’t know how you ladies with families do it?!!?
Girl, you have read my mind!! I was thinking the same exact thing just the other day and toyed with the idea of posting my thoughts of (lack of sleep) randomness. My problem seems to be this thing called “LIFEâ€. It won’t get out of the way of my craft room so I can get started on my long list of projects. It isn’t until the wee hours of the morning before I am able to craft or write a post! So, thank you – thank you for sharing and venting what so many of us are thinking… we need a few more hours in the day because honestly, I love SLEEP! AJ
I have that same denim skirt pinned. I love it…and want to make one for the Fall.. and your other items….well, they might just get added to my to do list too.
Do you know where I could get a tutorial for that skirt? It is so cute!
Do you know where I could get a tutorial for the skirt with the fabric underneth?? I just can´t get it off my head!! it is so pritty. For now it´s on my to do list as well..
