We’re on Week 3 of the Jolly Tree Farm Sew Along, and this week we’re sewing up an even bigger Christmas tree! This block is full of sweet details, with lots of pretty prints in the tree and a pair of darling stars shining above it.
I’m still sewing along with Claus & Co. by Melissa Mortenson, and I’m having so much fun mixing these cheerful Christmas prints together. I was especially excited to use the white background main print in the tree this week — that floral is so gorgeous, and I love how it adds a bright little pop tucked in with all the greens.
And of course, I couldn’t resist a little more fussy cutting! One of the stars has a tiny candy cane right in the center, which feels like the perfect little Christmas treat. These are exactly the kind of details that make sew along blocks so fun — just a few tiny choices that make each block feel extra special.
