I hope you’ve been enjoying the Cork and Mesh projects this week as part of the DMC Blog Hop! These new stitchable fabrics are so fun and it’s been great to see what these talented gals have made with them!
Today we have some really creative ideas that I am so excited to show you!
For our Cork project today the Simple Simon and Co girls made this sweet Cork Churndash Potholder!! These girls are my sewing and quilting gurus so I was so excited to see this fun pieced potholder from them!!
Wouldn’t this be a wonderful Christmas gift?? You could even personalize it with an embroidered monogram in that center square!
For the Mesh project today, we have this gorgeous Embroidered Candle Wrap from the so-talented Mollie of Wild Olive!
Isn’t that perfect for Autumn? She’s stitched up this wrap to go over a battery operated candle and I can just image how pretty it looks with the light shining through the mesh! I just love how creative this is!!
You can find the Cork and Mesh in your local stitchery shops, Wal-mart and some craft stores. You can also pick it up online at the DMC website or at Commonthread.us! (Cork and Mesh)
Our last day of the hop is tomorrow so make sure you check back in!!
