I love decorating for Halloween and I love decorating with a Victorian/Gothic style. Oooh – and I love anything inspired by the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. There is so much room for inspiration there!
Today I have a not-so-spooky Glam Spider Halloween Wreath to add to my decorations this year!
This fun wreath is super easy to make! It’s all decorated up with some fun pom poms and a little Spider decorated bow!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
- Foam Wreath form -I used a 12″ wreath
- Fabric for wrapping -a fat quarter will cover it
- Ribbon
- Decorative Button
- Spider charm
- Pom pom trim – two sizes
- Doily
- Mini Clothespins
- Small pins and Hot Glue
- Eeeek Pennant Printable
I’m kind of a wishy washy decorator. So I make all my wreaths with pins to hold most things in place instead of glue if I can, so I can change things up if I want, or redo the whole wreath next year! Feel free to use hot glue if you want – that totally works too.
Start by cutting your fabric into strips about 2-3″ wide and begin wrapping your wreath.
Continue until all the wreath is covered and pin the ends in place.
Cut a piece of ribbon the length of your wreath. Cut another piece and tie a bow in it. Layer together the spider charm, the bow and the decorative button. Glue everything together. Pin the ends of the ribbon to the back of the wreath, then pin the doily to the back of the wreath, making sure the doily is pulled tight.
Print out your pennant banner.
Cut two pieces of pom pom trim to swag across the top of the wreath. Cut out the pennant pieces. On the smaller trim, use the mini clothespins and clip the pennant letters to the trim. Pin the pom pom trims in place on the back side of the wreath.
That’s all there is to it!
Here are a couple of my other black and white Halloween projects!

I was searching for the spider and there I saw a tinnie tiny one hanging on a bow.. So cute! I also like the use of doily to make spider web.
