VickiT says
Winning this would be a huge blessing. Because of my own health problems, doing my favorite thing is tremendously hard for me to do anymore and that’s making the huge holiday meals I’m known for. Heck, making a single weeknight meal is very tough, let alone the amount of cooking/baking needed for a holiday meal. My husband is amazing and does a lot of the cooking with/for me but he just broke his foot so his help won’t be quite as easy for the Christmas meal this year. Winning this would help me do the one thing I have finally had to admit we might need to do this year, and that would be to purchase a catered holiday dinner to serve at home. I don’t really like going to restaurants for holiday meals as they are generally very busy and you end up being stressed waiting with an entire family in a line. The Christmas meal for me is all about being at home with the entire family, not sitting in a restaurant.

Rachel of OddModicum says
First thing is I have ZERO dollars for xmas this year, as we’re disabled and on a fixed income, and have been spending all my extra dollars trying to get my little handcrafted jewelry business going. So I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to pick up a few small ‘I love you’ gifts for my boyfriend, my father, and my best friend. I’d also love to get a few things for ‘toys for tots’ since I usually contribute at the holidays, and haven’t been able to this year. I’d also do at least one little ‘random act of kindness’ type thing for a stranger, which is one of my favorite ways to spend an extra few dollars, and can really make a difference in someone feeling special at the holiday season. And I’d take at least half the money and invest in a few craft materials to start some new lines with my new little jewelry business… I’ve been dying to explore a few new ideas, and haven’t had the funds. So… gosh.. winning would be SUCH a blessing! Crossing fingers!
Hugs & Hope,
rachel of OddModicum

Well, it would certainly help out this year. My dh had 4 surgeries at the end of the year last year, and hasn’t been able to work this year, so things are a lot tighter this year. We certainly aren’t going to do without anything, but I would use this to get a couple of extra for-fun gifts for the kids so that they would get at least one item that is more frivolous instead of only the useful, but boring to them, items.
Cathy Morton says

What an awesome giveaway! If I was blessed enough to win it, I’d buy a birthday and Christmas gift for my husband. His birthday was Dec. 7 and we’re just too broke to buy any gifts. If I win, I’d also like to buy some fleece and make hubby and our 4 kids all one of those warm blankets with the knots on the edges. My husband (Allen) is in kidney failure and gets dialysis 3x weekly, so he’s not able to work at this time. I’d like to get him a new pair of jeans and a couple flannel shirts. He always feels lousy and is always cold; I wish there was more I could do for him.
