I have been giving you some sneak peeks at projects for my Gallery Wall the last couple of weeks – and the day is finally here to reveal the whole wall! Yay!!!
I’m really happy with how it looks! It’s a mix of sentimental and new, silly and sweet, vintage and handmade. I have a bunch of pictures to share with you – so I can show off all the fun details. :)
When I planned to do a gallery wall in the living room, I knew that I wanted to highlight vintage fabrics and florals. I decided to incorporate the floral artwork by hitting up my favorite artist – my dad.
I can’t remember if I’ve shared this or not, buy my dad is a SUPER talented artist. He mainly does watercolor, but he’s also done oils, inks, sculptures, jewelry – well pretty much anything.
So I knew that his floral watercolors would be perfect for the space! I used this large landscape as the focal piece and pulled colors from the painting to use throughout the space.
All the other paintings are his as well – though some are smaller prints of his larger versions.
The radio that this little vignette is on was my grandparents. I love how it looks – and it still works! You can pick up AM radio stations and spin some records if you want.
I added in some pretty floral plates and dishes – and some vintage linens that I had frames. The silver bowl hanging below was Mr. F.T.’s grandmothers.
The little “Happy” sign is one of my favorite Queen Bee Market purchases – though I’m sad to say I don’t remember the vendor. It’s a little hard to tell but the letters are stamped on a leather piece that is fixed to the wood plaque. So cute!
And check out my little deer hoop!
I thought you might like a close-up. I soooo love this little hoop art! It might be my favorite design yet. Seriously.
Switching over to the other side, you can check out my cool antique phone. My grandpa found that at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and brought it up with him and refinished it. I have no idea why it was down there. Weird but awesome.
My little Home Sweet Home hoop art lives here, along with some cute vintage keys (that look crooked but aren’t) and some other fun things.
Maybe that key is a little bit crooked. Hmmm.
I also built this little shelf to show off my mini little globe and some of my favorite books.
Topping the whole wall off, I have a shelf that I built from a piece of snow fencing that a friend brought me from Wyoming.
I have more artwork, teacups, spools, and my cute vintage sheet bunting!
Oh and you can get a little pick of my “new” sewing machine. It was my grandmother’s machine and she used it for over 60 years. I’m so proud to have it.
Oh – and my little owl playing peek-a-boo. Of course.
Oooh – and I have to show off these pillows! I found them on clearance at Home Goods and I fell in love! They’re all sketchy style and embroidery. So cute! (and cheap!)
The sofa isn’t in the best of shape – but it’s older than I am so I cut it some slack. It’s a “maybe going to recover someday if I get the courage” piece of furniture – and it’s sentimental so I hang on to it. I love the simple styling of it.
So there’s my cute Vintage Style Gallery Wall!! I love it so much. It’s such a great mix of “us”. All the fun things from family, things I’ve made, and just pretty things I’ve picked up.
Plus it’s so full of color – it really brightens up this giant white wall!
I’d love to know what you think too!

You told us about your dads painting once, I remember because I was super impressed then & now. Your wall is fun and vibrant! I love the vintage feel, but you have none of the stodginess that you tend to see. It looks totally chic! Great job!
Oh my gosh – I love SO much about this wall!! All of the small touches make a big impact!
I love everything about your wall – the mix of vintage and new (handmade) – I just may have to steal your idea for my stair wall that has been staring blankly at me for 2 years since I redid my living room Minus the cute embroidery since i haven’t conquered that particular skill yet!) I wish we weren’t on opposite sides of the US – because I just know you and I would be great friends. I love your style!
absolutely wonderful collection the painter is really talented, see where you get some of your talent, thanks for sharing
This looks beautiful. You create such a welcoming environment in your home. Everything about it says, “come on in and sit a spell.” I’m sure when you look at the gallery wall it sparks smiles and remembrances of the stories behind each item. It’s also a great way to spark a story about history to children.
That does it. I am moving in.
Bev! This is beyond awesome. And that deer hoop?? I. Die. –I loved it on instagram and I love it now. Please tell us more about it! Or give a tutorial. I must have one. seriously.
Too cute, Bev! I love all of the little details you kept in mind for the space. And the sentimental pieces mix with the newer pieces perfectly! I *love* the story about the old telephone! How awesome is that??
This turned out great! I’m inspired to get my act together and finish my big blank wall in my living room.
I love everything about it! Great job as always!
Love the whole arrangement. It’s just the sort of room that feels pretty, comfortable.. and totally interesting. The sort where everything has a little story to tell and you catch something a little different every time you stop to look. It’s vintage-y perfect eye candy full of treasures :)
Oh man, I LOVE your gallery wall! Mine only has paintings and now I see the error of my ways. Going to re evaluate and add some treasures and texture to that wall, stat. As always, love your creativity.
