Remember my crazy short Teaser Post from last Tuesday? Well today is the big day to start The Pinterest Challenge!
The Pinterest Challenge is put on by an awesome group of gals – this is actually Round 5!
You can click here to read all about how it got started.
Every month they have asked a different blog to participate – and this month I am the Guest Pinhead!
(I should embroider that on a pillow.)
The Challenge gives us a chance to actually MAKE something that we’ve pinned! I know I needed the excuse – I have so many fun things pinned and I really enjoyed getting to finally make something!
So here’s how it works! All the Pinheads ( and guest pinhead(me)) make a Pinterest project!! We post them on different days during the week so you get to visit several awesome blogs and see all the fun projects.
And Guess What?? You can play along too!! You can link up YOUR Pinterest Projects – have your friends vote for them – and maybe win some prizes!
Prizes are always good. :)
Ready for a Sneak Peak for all the awesome Projects for the week?
I am loving this – I can’t wait to see what everyone made!
Here’s the schedule for the Challenge:
Today: Start linking up your Pinterest Inspired Projects (link party will be open until midnight on Sunday).
Tuesday: Come Here for MY Project – it is one I have been wanting to do for a while!
Wednesday: Visit Amanda @ Ninth Street Notions and see her big reveal.
Thursday: Ashlee @ I’m Topsy Turvy shows us what she worked on.
Friday: Check out Kara @ Happy Go Lucky for her project.
the weekend: spray paint, link up, sew, link up, cook, link up (just get those projects linked up!)
Monday – Wednesday: VOTE for your favorite Pinterest Challenge piece and see what Rebecca from Better Life Bags created in honor of Pinterest Challenge Week!
Thursday: Winner announced!
Want to see what the winner will win?
{PS – the votes are going to be hidden this time around. So you won’t know how many votes you have until Thursday when the winner is announced. Much more anticipation that way!}
A custom yarn wreath from Chrissy @ Simply Created.
A thirty-one mirror compact from thirty-one consultant, Beth Walls.
A fun stain-glass necklace from her jewelry shop!
And a $20 Gift Certificate to Elle Dee Designs {to be used within 30 days}.
Too fun!
So start poring over your boards and creating – and link up your projects at Rebecca’s blog, Better Life Bags!
And come back tomorrow to see my Pinterest Project – I can’t wait to show you!!
(Actually I can – but just until tomorrow.) :)
Thats really cool…should the link contain a tutorial (some on the ones already linked up do) or can we use an existing pattern /tutorial from Pinterest?
Hey Divya – the link doesn’t have to include the tutorial. The goal is just to complete some projects we pinned. BUT, please do link to the original source of your inspiration so people can get the tutorial if they like your project! Thanks for linking up!
