I have such a fun and super fast project for you today!
This is my Spooky Hanging Witch’s Pantry and it hangs in my dining room to bring a touch of Halloween to the room!
It’s set off with this great Happy Halloween pennant banner that is an American Crafts kit at Target. Let me tell you – this is my kind of paper crafting!
My daughter and I put it together and it was really fast and we had so much fun making it.
The hanging little bottles are filled with your standard Witch potion ingredients of course. You never know when you’ll need a bottle of Worm Warts.
Or maybe some crushed Newt?
So tasty.
I have these hanging on my giant chicken wire screen, but they’d look just as cute as wall décor without the screen behind them!
Here’s what you’ll need to make them:
- American Crafts Pennant Banner
- American Crafts spooky stickers
- Frames (these are from the dollar store – super cheap)
- Twine
- 6 small bottles (you can pick these up at the craft store or reuse small oil bottles)
- things to put in your bottles (food coloring, fake bugs, sand, etc.)
I started with the Happy Halloween banner.
You can find these at Target! The banner is one of three American Crafts kits they are carrying and they also have fun little extras to go with them. Stickers, washi tape, little clothespins etc. Super cool. I love that the kits have everything you need to make them too.
The banner really was crazy easy. Just peel and stick, peel and stick and add to twine.
(Those are my super technical instructions. You’re welcome.) Fortunately all the kits come with instructions too. :)
This kit comes with black yarn but I wanted to use some gray baker’s twine to string mine.
Boom. Done. That took like, 15 minutes.
So now let’s work on the little hanging bottles.
Start by adding the Halloween stickers to the bottles, then you can fill them with the items of your choice. For the Worm Warts (I just love that name), I rolled up balls of mossy green yarn and dropped them in the bottle. Super easy.
You can add water to some, with food coloring added, or plastic bugs, sand, pretty much anything that sounds weird. :)
Then you can hang everything up for a spooky display! The tiny little clothespins are perfect for hanging up the banner.
I love it!
You can find this pennant kit and stickers at Target and Target.com only! They also have a fun paper wreath and fabulous little witches hats, along with more embellishments like sequins, papers, and more!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for American Crafts. All opinions are my own! :)
I hope you like it!
