I know we’re just starting into Fall here, but it’s not too early to start a little holiday stitching! I’m super excited to be sharing this Shimmering Snowflake Cross Stitch pattern with you today!
I’ve been working with DMC lately on some fun projects, I have lots to share with you over the next few months!
If you’re not familiar with DMC – they are the makers of my favorite embroidery floss and threads. They also make cross stitch fabrics and a whole variety of specialty threads. Super fun stuff to work with.
For this project I’ve partnered with them to make these Shimmering Snowflake Ornaments! These ornaments are featured in a DMC ad that is in the special Ornament issue of Just CrossStitch Magazine that just came out on September 1. So you can get started on your ornament stitching early!
Here’s a peek at the ad –
So cool right? I’m pretty excited. :)
They’ve put the pattern and instructions in an printable download for you, so you can easily stitch up your ornaments in time for Christmas.

If you make them up, I’d love to see a photo! These would be great gifts too!
Make sure you check back for more DMC partnerships coming up soon! Yay!

Very pretty! Especially like how the centers differ with the gems.
Gorgeous ornaments Bev! Glad I’m not the only one made a start on Christmas crafts!! Thanks so much for linking to A Round Tuit. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Oh my gosh- did you use vintage earrings in the centers? If not, I’ve got wayyyy too many orphan clip earrings and they’d be PERFECT for this!!! Thank you so much for linking up at Snickerdoodle Sunday- hope to see you again this weekend.

Clip earrings are such a good idea!
Good Evening Bev, Oh I have to tell you, these little shimmering snowflakes are delightful. I have pinned and saved the instructions.
I am so excited to begin sewing these little lovelies for my daughters and of course for myself, that I cannot wait to start. I am a bit of a traditionalist I’m afraid, so my colours will be red and green.
I just need to track down the frames here in England.
Thank you so much….. as you can tell I am very excited about this project.
Best Wishes to you.
These are so pretty and I’ll be knocking a few out for Christmas, for sure! Thanks so much for sharing :)
Those are beautiful!! I’ve been cross-stitching for years, and absolutely love DMC…one of the best for so long!! Thank you for sharing this with us at the #HomeMattersParty. I pinned it to try in the future! :)
