Well friends, it’s time for Sew Our Stash!
And here is me confessing – I have nothing. What I do have is lots of excuses though! :) Between the move, and getting everyone adjusted here, and wanting to decorate the house instead of sew, and other commitments – the month just slipped away from me. It’s actually been a crazy couple of months, if you’ve been counting!
I do want to get back into sewing more apparel though – and I have some things specifically planned for next month so I’ll have something to show you in October. Yay for that!
Marissa was a good girl this month so you’ll want to click over and see what she’s been sewing!
I’ll leave you with a few patterns I have on my to-sew list.
I am dying to make up this Dottie Angel tunic from Simplicity. I think it’s so darling and looks so comfy too! My friend Susan made up a super cute version that I might just copy. :)
I’d love to make up a few of these Tova tops from Wiksten – maybe in a plaid flannel – or a double gauze!
The awesome ladies at Pattern Anthology just released a new pattern group – I think I’m going to make up the Adara top in a tunic version (the dress on the far right) – I think that will be fun to wear with a cardigan for the fall.
Last up is the Emery Dress from Christina Haynes. This is so retro and adorable – I think I’ll probably make the short sleeve version so I can wear it with a sweater. So cute!
Do you have any patterns on your to-sew list? I’d love for you to leave a link in the comments so we can all check them out!
And I promise to have something to show you next month! Pinky swear. ;)
