I have a new Mini Quilt to show off today! It’s this sweet version of Cluck Cluck Sew’s Pow Pow mini quilt. I love how cute it looks in a mini version.
I’ve mentioned before I’m a part of the Westwood Acres Mini Quilt club – every month they send you everything you need for a mini quilt! It’s so fun and they do such a great job picking patterns and fabrics. I can’t wait to make a few more – they are going to be such a cute wall gallery!
The fabrics are Aria from Kate Spain (Moda) and I love the colors. Cute florals and little butterflies!
I did a simple free motion quilting for it and they whole thing went together really quickly!
You can find the mini quilt pattern in this Mini Quilt Pattern Booklet and you can find the full size pattern here!
Have you made a version of the Pow Pow Quilt? It’s such a fun pattern to put together!

Super cute Bev, I’ve always loved that particular pattern. Curious, when you make a mini quilt how wide do you cut your binding strips. The same as you would for a regular quilt or smaller. I keep asking around about this but haven’t come up with any real answers as to how it should be done.
Thanks Karen! I cut this binding at 2″, so it’s a little smaller than a regular quilt’s binding. It feels like a good size so I’ll stick with that from now on. :)
Love it Bev, Thanks for sharing on craft schooling sunday! I think this mini quilt idea would be a good way for me to finally get my feet wet in the quilting arena…..well, when I get to it that is!
I just love the Pow-Wow quilt! Alison Harris is my favourite designer… I don’t have the Pow-Wow mini pattern mind you, I should pick that up too!
Very nice quilt, I like the colour combination and the fabric of the binding.
This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us at Family Joy Blog Link Up Party this week. Have a great rest of your week!
