Pellon January Giveaway!

So I promised you a giveaway this week and do I have a doozy for you!

You guys know about the awesome products at Pellon right? They make all kinds of amazing stuff – interfacings, stabilizers, Wonder Under, battings and lots more.

This month they are providing an assortment of products that are perfect for making bags!
(Though of course, you can use them for anything!)

Let me show you what we’ve got here:

We have TWO YARDS of each of these!!!

  1. SF101 Shape-Flex®.  100% cotton woven fusible interfacing.  20″ wide.
  2. 987F Pellon® Fusible Fleece.  100% polyester lightweight low-loft fusible fleece.  45″ wide.
  3. 71F Peltex® I Ultra-Firm 1-Sided Fusible.  100% polyester.  20″ wide.
  4. 809 Décor Bond®.  90% polyester/10% rayon fusible stabilizer.  45″ wide.
  5. 810 Tru-Grid®.  100% polyester tracing cloth with 1″ grid.  45″ wide.
  6.  a box of 4 Odegon deodorizing patches

These are valued at over $55!!

I use several of these products all the time – especially if I am making a bag.

On my Picnic Bag I used the Decor Bond – it is a nice heavy weight and it gives quite a bit of stability to the bag. Plus, it’s iron-on – which is always helpful.

I often use Pellon’s Fusible Fleece on the back of my embroidery projects – it makes a light padded backing and since it’s also fusible, it helps to hold those threads in place over time.

Tru-Grid is perfect for pattern making! It is 45″ wide and covered with a 1″ grid which makes it super easy to draw out designs. It’s not tearable like tissue paper either so you don’t have to worry about your cat using it like a slip and slide and having a big rip through your pattern.

I am excited to use the Shape-Flex – it’s a fabric-like fusible interfacing that is great for stabilizing lightweight or knit fabrics. I have a fun tutorial coming up next week for that!

The Odegon deodorizing patches are new to me too – but with teenagers in the house – there is always something that needs freshening. You can use it on clothing, gym bags, totes, anything really – and it’s small and washable!
I’m thinking of using them as wallpaper in one of the rooms in my house.

  211. I follow Flamingotoes all the time. I use Pelon 987F fusible in my totes. I love how it makes them feel. I also use a lighter pelon not sure of # on bank covers, small wallets, key ring totes and Kleenex holders.I would be happy to win any of the pelon and I would put it to good use giving gifts to all my friends.

  245. #1 – I have some cute baby pink fabric with little deers and other animal creatures on it….was wanting to make a purse and this would push me over the edge!

  250. I am in the middle of a whole house makeover. Money is extremely tight but living in a house with no concrete floors in the living room and the kitchen is difficult in the winter time. We removed the ugly and stained popcorn ceilings (fortunately the roof was already replaced) and my brother textured and painted the ceiling and the walls in both rooms. Now I need window coverings. I already bought material but I could sure use the pellon supplies for my valances/cornice boards.

    I also love to quilt and would like to try to applique quilting; another good use for a fusible product.!

    I love your site, it is always the first once I check, and a lot of times it is the only one I check.
